Blog: Using layout builder

To add content other than copy and the hero image to a blog post, you can use Layout Builder, accessed by the Layout tab. Examples of content that can be added with Layout Builder can be seen at this sample blog post:

If you need training on how to use Layout Builder, contact the Digital Marketing team and/or your regional website manager (US - Marc Frechette; Canada - Sandra Dallan; EMEA - Monica Pimentel Ribeiro; AU - Dean Kanakis).

There are a couple of specific settings needed in Layout Builder (LB) in order for it's sections/blocks to work as expected on blog posts:

  • In order for text blocks in LB to align with the top body copy - one column section, medium wide, left aligned on desktop, 'use column width' checked for Text/CTA blocks
  • If the full width of the image needs to be visible, do not use parallax on the image, only use the 'Regular' setting
