Tags to Add – Open Graph
Add the below tags in the “Open Graph” section of the Metatags tab on the right side of the Edit tab for each blog post. Underlined content = enter tag exactly as written.
NOTE: These tags are used by Facebook and LinkedIn. For Twitter see the next section for “Twitter Cards” metatags.
- Site name = Omnipod
- Content type = article
- Page URL = full URL with https
- Title = blog title
- Best practices
- Focus on accuracy, value, and clickability.
- Keep it short to prevent overflow. There’s no official guidance on this, but 40 characters for mobile and 60 for desktop is roughly the sweet spot.
- Use the raw title. Don’t include branding (e.g., your site name).

- Complement the title to make the snippet as appealing and click-worthy as possible.
- Copy your meta description here if it makes sense.

Tags to Add – Twitter Cards
Add the below tags in the “Twitter Cards” section of the Metatags tab on the right side of the Edit tab for each blog post. These tags are used Twitter only.
- Twitter card type = select Summary Card with large image
- Description = short description of blog topic
- Best practices
- A description that concisely summarizes the content of the page, as appropriate for presentation within a Tweet. Do not re-use the title text as the description, or use this field to describe the general services provided by the website. The string will be truncated, by Twitter, at the word to 200 characters.
