Basal Program Editing

In the Omnipod® 5 System, editing basal programs will only impact Manual Mode insulin delivery. To edit an existing basal program, the system must be in Manual Mode. If you're editing the active basal program, the system will ask you to pause insulin delivery first.

After updating basal settings or renaming basal programs, remember to restart your insulin. Also remember to check the Insulin tab on the Home screen to verify which basal program is active, either Manual Mode or Automated Mode.

Watch the video for step-by-step instructions to learn how you can edit existing basal programs.

Training is essential and must be completed before using the Omnipod 5 System. As part of this process, you will need to meet with your healthcare provider and visit omnipod.com/setup to complete setup and schedule your required training.
