Pod and the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus Sensor are shown without the necessary adhesive.
Now with more choices in sensor integration, patients can start on Omnipod 5 without changing from their preferred continuous glucose monitor (CGM) brand. With this new integration, users will benefit from tubeless automated insulin delivery along with:
- The convenience of a 15-day CGM sensor.
- The ability to start, deactivate, and view sensor glucose data directly from the Omnipod 5 Controller.

How to get patients started:
- The Pods compatible with the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus Sensor have a new NDC/NRC and require a new prescription. Intro Kit: NDC/NRC: 08508-3000-88 Pods: NDC/NRC: 08508-3000-42.
- For new to Omnipod 5 patients, send both Intro Kit and refill Pods to your patients’ preferred pharmacy or ASPN Pharmacies' New Jersey location.
- For your existing Omnipod 5 patients, send a prescription for FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus compatible refill Pods to your patients’ preferred pharmacy. Should they need any support, please have them contact the Omnipod Customer Care team at 1-800-591-3455.
