Supporting Innovation Makes Podder™ Maria Proud to Work at Insulet

Hi there! I'm Maria and I've had diabetes for almost 25 years. I have been a Podder™ since 2006, and I have worked at Insulet since 2015. I work in the Clinical Affairs team, supporting the Omnipod HORIZON™ Pivotal Trials.

The hardest part about having diabetes is that there is no perfect formula for great numbers. Every day is different - what worked yesterday might not work today. As a Podder™, I love having the freedom to manage my diabetes in a discreet manner. Having a strong support network is also key when living with a life-long disease.

Here at Insulet, I love being involved in projects that will improve the quality of life for those affected by diabetes. Insulet is a company where every employee is committed to improving the lives of people with diabetes and their caregivers, and that makes me very proud.

Being in a role where I am helping to bring an Automated Insulin Delivery system to the market is very exciting and rewarding. My parents would’ve given anything for me to have an AID system when I was diagnosed 25 years ago. I can’t wait to see the benefits that Omnipod HORIZON™ will bring!
