Omnipod 5 with Dexcom G7 Integration

Omnipod 5 System integrated with Dexcom G7 is starting to roll out.

Here’s what you will need to pair your Omnipod 5 with the Dexcom G7:

  • Omnipod 5 App Software Update
    • Coming July 29th for current Omnipod 5 users on Android compatible smartphones and Insulet-provided Controllers.
  • New Omnipod 5 Pods
    • Compatible with Dexcom G7 and Dexcom G6
    • Use the same prescription with similar coverage*
    • The new Pods are already being shipped from our facilities and we expect them to be in various pharmacies this fall
  • Dexcom G7
    • Continue to use your current Omnipod 5 and Dexcom G6 supplies and contact your doctor for a Dexcom G7 prescription once you start to see the new Pods in your pharmacy.

If you are planning to use a compatible iPhone when the Omnipod 5 App for iPhone is available, please note the first version of this software will only work with Dexcom G6.
