Your PEK comes with a real-feel, real-size, real weight, Demo Pod designed to give you a really good idea of what wearing a Pod feels like. The Demo Pod is a needle-free, non-functioning Pod and will not deliver insulin. The PEK does NOT include a physical Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM).

‡ The Virtual PDM is for demonstration purposes of the user interface only and is not a substitute of the Omnipod DASH PDM device. Only certain screens of the actual PDM are simulated for the experience. It cannot be used for therapy decisions or for insulin management training. The physical Omnipod DASH PDM is a standalone handheld device and not enabled via an app on a phone or tablet. The Pod has a waterproof IP28 rating for up to 7.6 metres (25 feet) for up to 60 minutes. The PDM is not waterproof.
